Ryla was rescued in July 2019 when she was only 4 months old. She was a mischievous and loving puppy who could find her way out of any kennel she was introduced to. While teething, she helped us choose new couches, shoes, remote controls, and puppy beds. We are grateful that she has matured into a sweet and loving member of our team and family. She loves greeting all who enter the clinic and chasing her squeakiest toys and tennis balls down the hallway. She also welcomes neck scratches and snacks and will pay back the favor with a sense of understanding and compassion.

Dr. Wendy Iszler

Dr. Wendy provides care for everyone from expectant mothers to athletes and everyone in between. As a wrestling, gymnastics, and dance mother, she knows the pressures of competition season on athletes. She sponsors many local athletes in the community including softball, baseball, cheerleading, and gymnastics, as well as reputable organizations. Additionally, she has family serving in the United States Marines which helps Dr. Wendy have a healthy respect for the armed forces and the accompanied family stresses.

Dr. Wendy and her team would like to say thank you for your service to all who have served and continue to serve today. Chiropractic is for everyone.

Dr. Casey Varick

Dr. Casey Varick is a native of the Black Hills region being born and raised in Hot Springs, SD. Dr. Varick started pursuing his career in chiropractic as a sophomore in high school when he began to shadow his local chiropractor. It was his high school’s mentorship program that afforded Dr. Varick the opportunity to begin to learn about the chiropractic profession. Within the first couple weeks of the program Dr. Varick knew he wanted to become a chiropractor.

After fulfilling his pre-requisite requirements at South Dakota State University and UNLV, Dr. Varick attended the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic. Palmer is the fountainhead of chiropractic and was founded by Dr. Daniel David Palmer, the “inventor” of chiropractic. While at Palmer, Dr. Varick received first hand instruction from the best chiropractors in the field. Dr. Varick also provided chiropractic care to underserved people in Salvador, Brazil through Palmer’s clinic abroad program.

Dr. Varick performed a voluntary internship program during his final trimester at Palmer. His internship was performed in Bellevue, WA where he learned several aspects of chiropractic that helped him to become a better-rounded health care provider.
Dr. Varick graduated from Palmer and travelled back out to Bellevue, WA where he began his associateship with Dr. Mark Thompson. Dr. Varick learned many valuable aspects to chiropractic care from Dr. Thompson and considers him to be one of the best chiropractors he has ever been associated with.

After his associateship, Dr. Varick decided to move back to the Black Hills and open a chiropractic clinic to help serve the people of South Dakota. He is very excited to be back in the Black Hills and extremely excited to be a part of the Rapid City community. He looks forward to helping as many people as possible gain optimal health through excellent chiropractic care.

Dr. Morgan Macleary

I’m from Tripp, a small, farm town in southeastern South Dakota where I attended Tripp-Delmont High School. While in high school I was involved in many sports and extra-curricular activities. I knew I wanted to have a career in some type of healthcare growing up, but I wasn’t quite sure which path I wanted to take. I ended up attending Dakota Wesleyan University and majored in Athletic Training.

While at Dakota Wesleyan University, I quickly realized that I wanted to pursue a career in chiropractic. It allowed me to be involved in the healthcare field while taking a more holistic approach. I shadowed and worked for my hometown chiropractors for a summer and immediately knew that was the path for me. After graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree, I moved to Davenport, IA to begin my next journey. I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in February 2023. While at Palmer, I learned many valuable skills including comprehensive orthopedic and neurological examinations, radiology interpretation, and multiple different adjusting techniques.

In my free time, I enjoy drinking coffee, going to farmers markets with my husband, Damon, watching a good TV show, and playing with my two dogs, Barkley and Koda. I look forward to getting involved in the community and everything else it has to offer!

Meesha Tavares

My name is Meesha Tavares. I was born and raised in Boise, ID with family in Custer, SD. I first moved here in August 2021, and I fell in love with this small town! I moved here to be closer to my family with a much needed fresh start for my son and I. I graduated from Paul Mitchell the school Rapid City in 2022 for Massage Therapy.

Growing up I always knew I wanted to do something that would make a difference in some way, but I had struggled with figuring out how I wanted to do that. I personally struggle with chronic back and neck pain and have been to a chiropractor for years off and on, a physical therapist, and a massage therapist. I received massages for 2 years straight, and couldn’t believe how much it truly made a difference. Massage therapy has truly changed my life! Once I experienced for myself what getting massages did for me, I knew I wanted to be able to help others that same way.

I am so excited for this new chapter in my life. To be in the position to help others, and make a difference in their life.
